Please Follow These Golden Rules For Messaging!
1. Positive: Show what we are for, not what you are against
2. Personal: What does science mean to you? How does science make your everyday life better, or how are you saving the world with science?
3. In-law test: If you show this to family and friends with different views on other issues, would they be more likely or less likely to join your support of science?
4. 8-year-old test: Does this message make an 8-year-old say “cool”?
March for Science - San Diego is an adamantly nonpartisan group of scientists, engineers, students, teachers, and science enthusiasts, united by our awe of the universe, and grounded by appreciation for science in our everyday lives. We are organizing a family-friendly, educational event to build awareness for the importance of science in society, and to highlight the San Diego region’s leadership in the sciences. As we march on April 22, we will be standing for our community, health, economy and our region’s future.
The March for Science of San Diego stands for public policy that both supports, and is supported by, openly shared science.
